Hay River RCMP continue to search for Junghwan ‘David’ Park.
We are nearing the three-week mark since Park was last seen. Reports have David at a local convenience store on April 3rd. The next day, Park’s co-workers reported him missing.
The last update provided by the RCMP had police members asking for motorists who may have picked up someone of David’s description. Park is described by police as Korean descent, 5’8”, roughly 150 lbs with a slight build, short black hair and brown eyes. The RCMP have added that David speaks Korean with limited English.
Media Relations for the Northwest Territories RCMP Marie York-Condon says the main goal is ensuring Park’s safety.
“The RCMP’s search for David is strictly to confirm his safety and well-being. We wish to advise anyone who may have had contact with David, and David himself, that we just want them to call the Hay River RCMP so we know he’s safe.”

The current investigation has led to police believing there are two places Park may have visited: Grand Prairie and Clairmont, Alberta. They added that it’s important to not restrict the search to these two towns.
The search for Junghwan ‘David’ Park continues.
