Yellowknife International Film Festival releases program and tickets

The 2023 Yellowknife International Film Festival (YKIFF) program has officially been released. 

This year, the festival is scheduled to run from November 1st to 5th and features a variety of content from around the North, Canada, and International works. 

“We love to support local filmmakers from here in Yellowknife and across the Northwest Territories, and indeed across the North,” Festival Director Jeremy Emerson tells MyTrueNorthNow. 

“From the NWT, maybe about 10 different filmmakers are going to be featured this year,” he adds.

15 in-person screenings and six online screenings are ready for audiences additionally, this year’s festival promises diverse showings from Indigenous, queer, BIPOC, and female filmmakers.

10-Punch Passes are on early bird sale until the end of the day on October 15th for $80.00. Individual tickets are on sale for $15.00 general admission, and $12.00 for students/seniors/under-waged individuals.
