Yellowknife’s Fire Division will soon be holding their annual Open House event.
The event will be held at the Fire Hall at 100 Taylor Road on Saturday, June 22nd from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm.
During this event, the public will be able to attend and learn about various fire safety practices with local firefighters. Guests will be able to inspect the fire engines up close and see what tools and techniques are used by firefighters to help keep the community safe.
Firefighters will be conducting a live fire demonstration of their practices. Guests will also be welcome to take part in fire truck rides, a barbecue, and face painting.
