Air quality warnings have been issued for regions in NWT due to smoke from wildfires throughout the territory.
- Ft. Liard Region, including Nahanni Butte – Sambaa K’e
- Ft. Providence Region, including Kakisa – Chan Lake
- Ft. Resolution Region including Hwy. 6
- Ft. Simpson Region, including Jean Marie River
- Hay River Region, including Enterprise
- Lutsel K’e Region
- North Slave Region, including Wekweeti – Whati – Behchoko
- Thebacha Region, including Ft. Smith – Salt River Reserve
- Wrigley Region
- Yellowknife Region
Environment Canada says smoke has temporarily moved out of some areas but is expected to return Thursday night or Friday.
