De Beers Donates $48k for Inclusion NWT Rennovations

Thanks to some help from the De Beers Group, Inclusion NWT was able to have some much needed renovation work done at the Abe Miller Centre.

A total of 24 windows were approaching the end of their natural life and were in desperate need of replacement and was recognized by the organization as a high priority. The renovations were paid for in part by a $48,400 donation from De Beers Group.

The building that houses the Abe Miller Centre was first built in 1989, and the Centre is used for many of Inclusion NWT’s programs, which include aiding people with intellectual and learning disabilities with things like employment services, skills training, and community services.

Lynn Foley, Executive Director of Inclusion NWT, said: “This renovation was critical to improve the function of the building and improve conditions for staff and clients who use it every day. We are grateful that De Beers Group was able to work with us on this project.”
