SnowKing’s Winter Festival XXX “Hardcore Snow Pour” fundraising drive finished up earlier this month generating a total jackpot of $9,270.
According to SnowKing, more than 2,200 tickets were sold during the fundraiser, but ultimately, Melanie Fecteau took home the 50/50 prize of $4,635, while Elizabeth Marks won two return tickets to anywhere Air Canada flies in North America.
SnowKing XXX is scheduled for March 1st to the 28th next year, but all the loyal subjects of Yellowknife will still have a chance to take home a prize while supporting the festival during the next raffle- the “King of the Hill Reverse Raffle.”
