Aurora College will be hosting a series of Research Data Management Workshops this October in Fort Smith, Inuvik, and Yellowknife.
College officials suggest that the workshops will focus on establishing a “strong foundation” in RDM practices and providing hands-on learning opportunities with industry standard tools and techniques.
Each two-day workshop features introductory and community sessions followed by hands-on training. Every workshop is tailored to anyone who works with or has an interest in research data, including researchers, students, and staff.
The sessions are virtual and are accessible to the NWT researching community to enable participants to join remotely and benefit from expert insights without the need to travel.
The first session is scheduled in Inuvik on October 1st, followed by a session in Yellowknife on the 3rd, and concluding with the Fort Smith workshop on October 7th.
