The Yellowknife RCMP are on the lookout for two suspects who committed an armed robbery earlier this week.
On October 1st, Yellokwnife officers were called out to the scene, where they learned that two men approached the victim and demanded the keys to their vehicle while brandishing a knife. The suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle.
Both the suspects and the stolen vehicle remain at large. The vehicle is describes as a silver 2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class sedan, with an NWT license plate numbered as 368137. The first suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, around 5’ 11” with black pants and a grey or black coat. This suspect also reportedly covered his face. The second suspect is described as a black male of medium build, around 5’ 8” with corn row styled hair.
Residents are asked not to approach these men if they are spotted. Any information on their current whereabouts can be sent to the Yellowknife RCMP at 669-1111.
