A Yellowknife resident now has a much heavier wallet after a lucky draw on a scratch ticket!
Leon Haniliak purchased a $10 Majestic Scratch & Win ticket from Yellowknife’s downtown Reddi Mart location.
Later that day, he decided to scratch the ticket at work, and was dumbfounded when he saw that he had just won the $1 million prize!
When discussing his win with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Leon said that he isn’t sure what he’ll be doing with his winnings just yet.
