After receiving reports of gunshots fired and an attempted arson, Fort Resolution RCMP are currently investigating the area.
The report came in around 4:30am on March 3rd. Local officers were told of the shots fired near a residence on Rental Road. Once police arrived on the scene, they discovered evidence that the suspect had also attempted to set the residence on fire. The fire was extinguished quickly, and no injuries have been reported.
The investigation is active, and no suspects have been identified at this time. Police believe that there are witnesses throughout the community who have additional information on this matter, and are asking them to come forward.
