Fire ban lifted in City of Yellowknife

The ban on open-air fires in Yellowknife, which started on June 20, has been lifted. This is because of recent rainfall and cooler weather. The city may put the ban back in place the risk of fire increases.

Use an approved fire pit and get a burn permit before starting a fire. Ensure the fire is cold before leaving.
