The Chamber of Commerce just announced they are hosting a Virtual All Candidates Forum on April 24.
“With the Federal Election just around the corner, now is the time to get informed. The Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce is proud to host a Virtual All Candidates Forum — your opportunity to hear directly from the candidates running in the Northwest Territories and learn where they stand on the issues that matter most to you,” the Chamber of Commerce said in today’s media release announcing the event.
The “non-partisan” forum will take place between 7 pm to 9 pm and will be streamed live on YKChamber.com via Microsoft Teams Live Events.
The Chamber of Commerce said that the livestream will be posted on their website before the event.
The event is free and promises to include a moderated discussion with all confirmed candidates, followed by a question and answer session.
The Chamber of Commerce invited members of the public to submit their questions in advance.
True North FM reached out to the Chamber of Commerce for more details about the event and will post those when they become available.
